Lourdes 2nd to 9th June 2008

As part of the Parish’ Golden Jubilee Celebrations in 2008, members of the parish spent a week in Lourdes from 2nd to 9th June 2008.

Lourdes was just a small market town lying in the foothills of the Pyrenees on the 11 February 1858, when Bernadette Soubirous met the “Lady” that made the town famous for the Marian apparitions of Our Lady of Lourdes.
