The group’s object / purpose:
The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA) is a structured programme in the Catholic Church for adults seeking to join the faith. It involves stages of education, spiritual formation, and rituals, leading to the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist. The process culminates in the Easter Vigil, where participants are fully initiated into the Catholic Church. The OCIA offers a supportive and intentional pathway for individuals on their journey to embrace Catholicism. Please phone or email the parish or complete the OCIA enquiry form at the back of the church.
The programme is also open to baptised Catholics who may have missed out on thorough Catechesis and feel called to deepen their faith
