The group’s object / purpose:

To get a taste and some understanding of the Bible by studying the readings of the following Sunday

Find the Bible daunting? Don’t know where to start? How about joining a group of parishioners who meet regularly (or not so regularly!).  Attendance at every meeting not compulsory.

This year we have been dipping into the upcoming Sunday’s Scripture readings to help us go, week after week, deeper into the theme of each season.

By offering excerpts from the Old and the New Testament every Sunday, the Church enables us to reflect on how the Word of God lights us on our way. The Scriptures come alive as they call us to anchor our lives in the mystery of Christ’s life.
